Saponified 100% pure coconut oil, full-fat coconut milk, and distilled water.
Why we used these specific ingredients:
76-Degree Coconut Oil is the star because it creates a rock-hard bar that produces a massive, fluffy lather even in hard water.
20% Superfat (extra oil) to ensure the bar isn't drying out; since coconut oil is so effective at removing oils, leaving 20% of the oil "unsaponified" ensures the soap feels moisturizing rather than stripping.
Full-Fat Coconut Milk was chosen to boost the "creaminess" of the bubbles, adding natural sugars that increase lather and fats that contribute to a silky skin feel.
Distilled Water and Lye are the essential catalysts that transform these fats into soap, with the water being split into two parts specifically to protect the delicate nutrients in the milk from being scorched by the heat of the lye.
