Why These Ingredients?
- Pasture-Raised Tallow: The heart of our soap. Because tallow so closely matches our skin's natural oils, it delivers vitamins A, D, E, and K exactly where they are needed to support mature skin.
- 12% Superfat: We leave a generous amount of unsaponified tallow in every bar. This means it cleanses while simultaneously "resealing" your skin’s moisture barrier.
- Lavender: Because its timeless, soothing aroma naturally reduces stress and promotes relaxation. Its gentle, skin-calming properties also make it perfect for a deeply restorative daily wash.
- Brazilian Purple Clay: Gives the lather a "silken" feel and gently draws out impurities while keeping the skin’s delicate balance intact.
- Castor & Coconut Oil: Balanced at 5% and 20% to create a bubbly, creamy foam that feels like a liquid lotion on the skin.
- Sodium Lactate & Sugar: Natural additions that ensure your bar stays hard and long-lasting in the shower while boosting those fluffy, comforting bubbles.
- Silk Fibers: give the soap a luxurious, satiny glide and an incredibly silky lather. They dissolve into the soap to create a smooth, premium feel that leaves skin soft and deeply conditioned.
- Rosemary Oleoresin Extract: is a completely natural antioxidant derived from rosemary leaves. We include a tiny drop of it in our recipes to protect our nutrient-rich fats and oils from oxidizing on the shelf. This naturally extends the shelf life of our artisan bars, keeping them smelling fresh and looking beautiful for much longer. It is not used for scent, so it will never interfere with our custom essential oil blends.
